23 October 2017 – Lliber Senija Hidden Valley

Eleven of us for today’s walk

Nice to see Jackie and Mike, plus Peter and Anne again

We had hoped that Peter might be able to join us, but he was unable to do so

David had suggested Lliber to Senija via the cross, but this was as close to the cross as we got

He decided to do the walk anti clockwise, the opposite to our usual walk

This meant an easy valley walk to Senija

Then a climb uphill towards the cross

We found a convenient wall for our banana break

And had our lunch outside an empty finca

It was quite cool, so everyone looked for a spot in the sun

Pat and Jackie found a nice spot under a nearby tree

 

Wendy is still having trouble with her foot, so she left us after lunch and took the short way back to Lliber

The rest of us went via the hidden valley

We all know this walk well, but have usually done it the opposite way

Everyone agreed how nice it was to do it in reverse, it seemed like a new walk

We ended in Lliber square as usual, where the bar is under new ownership and has had a nice upgrade
