27 July 2017 – Family Visit Part One

The normal peace and quiet of Arenal came to abrupt end with the arrival of Stuart and family

Their arrival also coincided with an unusually long spell of hot weather, with temperatures of 37c not unusual

So it is not surprising that they spent a lot of time in the pool, as we all did

The pool usually feels quite large when just Jan and I use it

However it seemed too small for all seven of us

So we booked two short periods each day when we could have it to ourselves

Jack and Georgia are old hands, and could not wait to get in the water

In fact Jack spent most of the time under the water

Chloe was not so sure, and needed a little encouragement from her mum

But it was not long before she was happy despite her loud and excited brother and sister
