24 April 2017 – Javea to Portichol

Jan and I did this walk as a recce for our Thursday group

We started from Javea Arenal and found that there is now a track along most of the beach, which is an improvement from the last time we did it

We have done this walk many times, but never led it.  So we wanted to record the walk using our satnav to avoid any problems

The path to Cap Prim is well signed, but no directions to Sardine Bay.   We missed it on the outward journey, but found it on the return.

Today is a Spanish holiday so we were surprised to find that Portichol beach was not very busy.   However by the time we had our picnic it was filling up and was quite busy as we left.

I thought that the walk might be longer as we started in Javea, but it only took us 4.5 hours.  So we spent a longer than usual time in the bar afterwards
